We are a vibrant society with around 50-80 members with between 40 and 60 of them attending the monthly meetings.

Meetings

We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm at The Croft School (July, August & December excepted)

Currently meetings are suspended due to the corona-virus

The latest edition of our annual journal the Painswick Chronicle (No 23) is due out at the start of December.
Copies are available from the society directly at our meetings and also at the Painswick Pharmacy and Best One Stores.

An Index to the Painswick Chronicle is now available and can be found on the Publications page.

Transcriptions of Painswick Inventories from the 17th and 18th Centuries have now been uploaded and can found on the Research Resosurces page
